Fraser Jane is a self-produced Irish songstress. Having spent much of her early adulthood on bad habits, reckless relationships and disco dancing, Fraser has managed to draw a well of inspiration from her wayward ways and translate these experiences into music.
A creative powerhouse, her vivid imagination reaps a wealth of otherworldly electro bleeps and pairs them with creeping tribal patter to create a uniquely ethereal alt-pop soundscape reminiscent of Imogen Heap, Peter Gabriel and Björk. The sombre vocal tones of the Limerick singer writhe among beautiful strings in an honest exploration of love and life. Quickly turning tastemaker heads with her debut single ‘ENOUGH’ being immediately championed on John Kennedy’s Radio X show as his ‘Xposure BIG One’, Charlie Ashcroft at Amazing Radio and Dan Hegarty on Ireland's 2FM, alongside early high-profile press support from the likes of Clash Music, Wonderland Magazine and more.
Fraser Jane is easily identified as an artist that has found a musical landscape very much of her own, one which has already achieved support from the legendary producer Gary Katz [Steely Dan, Chaka Khan, Laura Nyro, Joe Cocker] who said, “Every once in a while, not very often, I hear an artist that is creating distinctive original music that makes my ears perk up and my foot tap, Fraser Jane is one of those artists.”
